Chanting Bodies - An interdisciplinary performance practice for artists and passionate performers.
A method in it´s development founded by Luca Zunftmeister alias ALAZ NIU with the aim of building a praxis and artform from an interdisciplinary perspective and pactice from zero to creation, from research to exploration. Their backround of theatre stage performance as actor, writing, singing and creating music, as well as their education in proffessional contemporanean dance, secured the intensive and versatile experiences needed, to start developing Chanting Bodies.
Learning vocal coaching on a holistic level (Method by Joana Roots), working with text and singing on stage in theatre productions and their experience in divers parctices of Butoh Dance, f. ex. with Minako Seki, over the years, are additionally rounding up their knowledge as artist and interdisciplinary performer. Since 2020 focusing on creating music only, now dance is back in their life and with it the strong wish to share knowldge and practice, experience in collective evironment.
From here, Chanting Bodies can develop into many directions.
